Yunnan Snub nosed Monkey - Cardboard art

£75.00

This mother yunnan snub-nosed monkey and her baby is an original piece of art I made in 2022 from upcycled cardboard. I make my (mostly monkey!) cardboard art work by cutting up old cardboard boxes, and working with the natural grain of the cardboard, using simple folds to create bold sculptural forms.
They are painted with the best quality acrylic paint.

They measure approx. 19 × 14.5 × 4cm. They'd look really lovely in a extra-deep square shadow box frame (I've got these before from a company called Baby Rice UK on etsy and they're great!

These striking monkeys are sometimes known as the “sneezing monkey”, as apparently the train makes them sneeze due to their upturned, snub noses! They are one of the few species of monkey found in habitats that get extremely cold.

This is an original, one of a kind piece of art. Attached to the back of the piece is a wire hook for attaching it to the wall.

This cardboard art piece will be packaged safely and sent with signed and tracked postage.
