Cardboard Figures

All these cardboard art works are made from upcycled cardboard packaging and painted by hand with top quality acrylic paint. Nearly all of them are inspired by various non-human primate species, as you can see! I love working with the natural grain of the cardboard for the folds, and the corrugation inside the cardboard layers. I really enjoy looking at the features of the specific primates and working out how to recreate them with abstract shapes.
